The life of a musician is filled with many travels: glamorous nights spent performing in cities all over the world, and long days spent—well, at the airport.

This Saturday on Second Inversion: Jet Lag. We’ll hear music inspired by the thrill of travel—and the tedious process of actually getting to your destination. One composer finds inspiration in the chaotic rush of the terminal; another, in the eerie silence of an abandoned airport. Plus, music inspired by the screaming baby that is somehow always seated in the row behind you.

Place your seat backs and tray tables in an upright position and join us for experimental sounds at 38,000 feet!

To listen, tune in to Classical KING on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 9pm PT.
