Second Inversion

“Chaser of Sunlight” by Nils Tamlag.

by Maggie Molloy

Daylight savings is just around the corner—and if you’re already dreading “The Big Dark” here in Seattle, we’ve got music that’ll help you lighten up!

This Saturday on Second Inversion: Let There Be Light! From shimmering sunbeams to bright white prisms of sound, we’ll “lighten things up” with music inspired by the sun. We’ll get lost in 24-hour daylight from the Arctic Circle, ruminate on spiritual illuminations, and brighten our evening with brassy, golden beams of light. Plus, we’ll hear from an instrument that requires a very “light” touch. Lighten up!

To listen, tune in to Classical KING on Saturday, November 2 at 9pm PT.
