Archipelago Collective

A Beethoven string duet and a Brahms horn trio, performed by players and friends of the Archipelago Collective. The Archipelago Collective is an organization seeking to bring world-class chamber music to San Juan Island, providing a creative retreat for their musicians and a unique and enriching experience for their audiences.

Cover Night 

Saturday, August 23 | 9pm 

Host: Maggie Molloy 

Let your hair down and dance along to Cover Night on Second Inversion! Classical musicians put a funky new spin on the music of Dolly Parton, David Bowie, James Brown, and many more. Plus, one jazz artist’s ear-expanding rendition of one of classical music’s greatest hits. Tune in for some wild new renditions of songs you thought you knew. 

 

The Score with Edmund Stone 

Nine Lives 

Saturday, August 23 | 4pm 

This Saturday on The Score, Edmund Stone is having a purr-fectly fun time with Nine Lives, a show all about cats. Featuring music from The Aristocats, Captain Marvel, Tom and Jerry and more, it’s musical catnip for feline fans. 

 

50 Years of Summer Blockbusters 

Sunday, August 17 | 4pm 

Blockbusters started with Jaws in 1975, and The Score has been “celebrating music in the movies” for over 900 episodes and counting! Hear music from some of the biggest summer movies ever, including The Dark Knight, ET, Finding Nemo, Alien and more.
