The Arctic landscape is like a fresh white canvas—it’s filled with possibility. There’s a stillness that comes from being surrounded by snow, sunlight reflecting off every surface. And at night, northern lights dancing overhead, in all different shades of green, red, and purple.

This Saturday on Second Inversion: Facing North. We’ll hear music inspired by the quiet beauty of the Arctic. One composer finds music in the many different textures of snow; another, in the clarity of the Northern landscape. Plus, we’ll warm up inside an arctic bar and step outside under the aurora borealis.

To listen, tune in to Classical KING on Saturday, January 4 at 9pm PT.
